"Why Easter"

Good day,

It has been a while since I have been on this blog. I hope everyone has been doing well.

Well Easter will be here in a short time. Time seems to be flying now. People are too busy today. I Pray as this time comes and goes that we all stop a moment and understand "Why Easter".

Easter just like all other Holy Days has been commercialized and turned into a secular event. Which is very sad.

So why do we have Easter?

We have Easter because we have a risen and living Savior. Our Savior's name is Jesus.

Jesus went to the cross at Calvary and was crucified.

So why was Jesus Crucified?

Jesus was crucified because the Bible says that there is a penalty for sin and that penalty must be death. Everyone has committed sin. Everyone except Jesus. Jesus was the only one who could purchase your life with His blood. Because He is the only one who had perfect blood. He suffered our pain and our affliction. He was crucified so He could pay our penalty and then He could rise from the tomb and be the only Risen Savior.
